How to Remove “shadows under desktop icons”
These shadows blurring icon text, troubled me a lot.
On search I found a guide that worked and this is – step-by-step go to:
Control panel
System
Advanced tab
Performance Settings
On Visual Effects tab
Uncheck “use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop”
We live to learn and I have learnt lot of in searching for solutions. My thanks to those noble people who came forward and put solutions on web for people like me.
