How to resize font in Word document

Comfortably Resize font in Word document

Instead of trying various font sizes from Formatting Tool to finally suite our required size of text, we can highlight the text and apply:

Ctrl+[ “left square bracket” to decrease size of font, and
Ctrl+] “right square bracket” to increase size of font

Keep the text highlighted and repeat these shortcuts until achieve required size of font.

Such shortcuts are also used to align text or object:
Ctrl+l to align left
Ctrl+r to align right
Ctrl+e to align in center
Ctrl+c to copy
Ctrl+x to cut
Ctrl+v to paste

p.s. If you want to draw a dotted or dashed line across the width of your document, you can punch three time any one of these and press Enter (without inserting a space); that will expand into a full line:
~ tilde
* star
- dash
_ underscore
